Troubleshooting
This page covers common problems that users run into while using Picotat.
I Cannot Sign In
Try these checks:
- make sure you are using the correct sign-in method for your account
- refresh the page and try again
- sign out and sign back in if the page seems stuck
If the problem continues, contact support and include a screenshot if possible.
My Discord Bot Will Not Start
Check the following:
- the bot token in Picotat matches the current token in Discord
- the bot was created correctly in the Discord Developer Portal
- your account still has access to the bot and region you selected
If you recently changed the token in Discord, update it in Picotat before starting the bot again.
My Bot Is Online but Does Nothing
This usually means the bot is running but does not have the right workflow or permissions.
Check the following:
- the correct workflow is attached to the bot
- the workflow trigger matches what you are testing
- the bot has been invited to the right Discord server
- the bot has the permissions it needs in Discord
My Slash Commands Are Missing
Try these steps:
- wait a short time and check again
- confirm the workflow that creates the command is attached to the bot
- make sure you are testing in a server where the bot is present
My Minecraft Server Will Not Start
Check the following:
- the server was created successfully
- you selected the correct region
- the server is not already in the middle of another start or stop action
If the status stays on an in-between state for too long, refresh the page and check again.
Players Cannot Join My Minecraft Server
Check the following:
- you shared the exact address and port shown in Picotat
- the server status is online
- players are joining with Minecraft Bedrock Edition
If you recently restarted the server, wait for it to finish coming online before trying again.
My Uploaded World or Content Is Not Showing Up
Try these steps:
- confirm the upload finished successfully
- restart the server if needed
- check whether you uploaded the content to the correct server
I Hit a Limit While Creating a Bot or Server
Your account may have limits based on your current plan.
If you cannot create another bot or server, review your current usage and remove anything you no longer need. If you need more capacity, look for the upgrade options available in your account.
When to Contact Support
Contact support if:
- a service stays in an error state after you retry
- your account cannot access a feature you expect to have
- the page appears broken or unresponsive
- you are unsure which setting caused the problem
When asking for help, include:
- what you were trying to do
- which page you were on
- the name of the bot or server
- the error message, if one was shown
